The Arlington style in Odessa Oak
Odessa Oak is one of four Oak doors in the Arlington style, and it is one of the lighter
shades. These bright doors look wonderfully bright and alive on their own with their dark
horizontal grains and knots, but you could also alternate them with different coloured
doors, such as Ivory, Magnolia or Vanilla. For a continuing theme you could combine these
doors with a Roman Travertine work surface and up-stand in Etchings texture, or Natural
Block Walnut. For a more dramatic effect there is always True Scale Blue Storm work
surface in Radiance texture. For extra oomph you can alternate these doors with another
colour, either wood grain or a neutral colour. Fitting handles also gives another dimension
to kitchen doors, especially if you are adding replacement doors as handles add to the
new and different look.
Arlington kitchen door and drawer fronts come in a huge choice of colours, including one
that you can paint yourself to the colour of your own choice. The painted options are
shades of white and cream, the vertical wood grain tones start with a very light hue and
build up to a dark one, there is also a textured finish and a high gloss one too which has
the extra colours of Aubergine, Anthracite and black.
Trends is a good place to go buy replacement kitchen unit doors as they have a wonderful
record in this field and the choice is vast, not only for doors, but also drawers and handles.
