Visions Ultragloss Dakar Kitchen Doors
The Visions replacement kitchen door in Ultragloss Dakar is a high end product that will really take your breath away as soon as you install it into your kitchen. Along with the beauty of this product, you will also be impressed by the fact that it can be cut to almost any size you require. It is this bespoke aspect that takes these doors from average and into the realms of special and unique.
The Visions door is designed to highlight the finish and colour, rather than the style as such. As a plain slab fronted kitchen door it is well made, smooth and of high quality materials - but it is featureless. For a modern home where you are looking for a minimalist feel, this is the perfect door. If you want to add features, you can choose to do so by adding handles of your choice. We have many in our range that will work well and they give the door any feeling you wish to imbue it with.
Visions doors are all ultragloss finishes and this one uses the Dakar shade. Ultragloss Dakar is a high gloss, reflective, glassy door that will bounce light around the room effortlessly. The colour is sandy and warm with a Mediterranean feel. As a gloss door that is high end it is incredibly smooth and mirror-like and will add a contemporary feel to almost any kitchen.

We do our best to produce accurate images but there may be some slight variation between how the colour appears on your screen and how it looks on the door. We always recommend ordering free colour swatches or purchasing a sample door so you can see exactly what your colour choice will look like.

Drawer fronts
Drawer fronts up to 283mm high are supplied with horizontal grain.
Doors
Doors are supplied with vertical grain.
The dimensions of a door will determine the type of door supplied and the grain direction.
Visions Blue, Anthracite and Champagne colours are directional as marked by the arrows on the protective film. The arrows must point upward when fitted. Please make sure to specify right and left hand opening, if you are opting to have your doors drilled.
The largest door we manufacture is 2400mm high by 1200mm wide.
Panels
The minimum height for panels is 100mm, and the minimum width is 100mm. Maximum width is 1200mm. The grain direction of panels will match the doors - except panels below the height of 282mm, which will be supplied with horizontal grain unless stated otherwise. The edge type of the panels will match the edge type of the doors, unless specified otherwise. The backs of panels will match the backs of the doors.
Handles
Handles are not supplied as standard, please choose any handle you wish from our range, or fit your own.
Drilling for hinges and handles
All doors come undrilled as standard. However, we offer a hinge hole drilling service at a modest cost.
Please let us know your hinge hole measurements and we will drill them accordingly. Measure from the top or bottom of the door to the centre of the hinge hole. If you need any guidance on measuring for hinges, watch our DIY help videos or give us a call.
You can have your hinge holes drilled from 60mm from the bottom and top edge of the door.
We are unable to drill for handles.
Door back colour
All doors are supplied with a matching back, except Ultragloss Chocolate, Ultragloss Red and woodgrain colours, which come with a silver back.
Horizontal grain
Horizontal grain is available in all wood grain colour options. High gloss colours are available with horizontal grain up to 1200mm high.
Standard wood grain colours are available up to 1245mm high.
