The Newick style in Light Grey

The Newick bedroom door from Trends in Light Grey is a perfect example of how a very plain door can be transformed by the use of the right colour in the right bedroom. The Newick is just one of the doors we have on offer that gives a minimal feeling that is effortless. This door can be provided to you in any size you need making it ideal for creating that bespoke look in your bedroom without having to pay bespoke prices.

The Newick may seem very plain to look at when you first see it, but actually it has hidden depths. The door features heavily chamfered edges giving the door gentle curves that set it apart from our plain slab fronted doors. These chamfered edges catch the light and create shadows and extra interest. You can add any door handle to this door, but we think that a minimalist approach would work best - perhaps with a metal bar handle.

The colour of Light Grey works perfectly on the Newick door as the plainness allows the colour to shine through. The shade is cool and contemporary with an almost silvery feel. The colour is light and bright, making this ideal for a darker bedroom where extra light is required. Light Grey works well when combined with cool colours like blues and white, but equally you can add pops of colour for a twist.

The Newick door from Trends is plain but add Light Grey and it is transformed.
