Taking the traditional ideas about furniture making that came from the American Shakers, this replacement kitchen door from Trends uses the handcrafted look to create a replacement kitchen door that is both classically styled and contemporary - not a mean feat. The Goodwood door is highly detailed and deeply carved to express its sharp lines and mouldings and when combined with Pebble Grey, this door really does take on a life of its own. Calm and peaceful grey combines with strong features to create a kitchen that really says as much about you as the rest of your home.
The Shaker style is used here in terms of the framing of the central panel, but when it comes to the centre section the Goodwood door really does take on an era and style of its own. All of the handcrafted elements are there but the deep carved section adds an extra little flair. On the drawer front this is particularly pronounced and the middle raised wooden section can almost be used as a handle. However you probably want to add some of your own and we recommend some lovely chrome bar handles which will work well on this style and with the colour of Pebble Grey too.
Pebble Grey is a modern shade that works well on all styles of door, but especially those with a more modern edge. Grey is one of those colours that is highly regarded by interior designers at the moment and therefore works well with almost all styles of home design. It is at once cool and reflective, but also will work well with warm shades to create a harmonious room. If you are going for mid-century modern or high end glamour, the Goodwood in the shade of Pebble Grey will give you exactly what you need. Don't forget that we cut your doors to the exact length and width that you need for your project (within certain limits) so don't forget to have a look at our HelpZone.
