my dream kitchen winner

Last month saw the end of our Pinterest competition – #MyDreamKitchen – and we’d like to say a massive thanks to everyone who entered and huge congratulations to Glenda Hanks whose beautiful board was chosen as the winner by our team of judges. It was an incredibly tough decision but we felt that Glenda’s board just edged it in terms of style and personality. In this week’s blog post we’ll be taking a look at the winning board as well as some of our other favourites.

With the doom and gloom of autumn and winter now upon us, the summer seems like an eternity ago when in reality it was just a few months ago. Coinciding with the launch of our new replacement kitchen door colours – Colours of the Sea and the Sky – we unveiled our latest competition which gave one of you the chance to win £100 worth of Amazon vouchers.

We asked you to create a Pinterest board around one of the new kitchen door colours, showcasing all the different elements you wanted in your dream kitchen. From futuristic high gloss kitchens to traditional masterpieces, there was a wealth of top entries and it was a pleasure to view them all.
The Winner

Glenda’s board was a super stylish combination of Ultragloss Light Grey and some brilliantly bright yellows in what created a beautiful contemporary kitchen. We felt that the contrast created between the neutral grey and bold yellow was a stunning look. This was paired with a variety of smart accessories that helped to give the room a personal touch.

Special Mentions

Unfortunately not everyone can be winner, but we’d still like to say a special mention to some of the boards that made the decision such a difficult one to make. Sarah’s board had a lovely natural colour palette that cleverly combined neutral greys with warm purples and deep earthly tones.

We also loved what Adeline did with her board. The traditional theme was evident throughout and gave the whole board a comforting feel whilst the quirky selection of kitchen accessories added so much character to the selection.

These were but a couple of the many entries we enjoyed going through – we are grateful for all your entries. You can view all the entries, including Glenda’s winning board, in the comments of our Competition Pin.

Thanks for entering and stay tuned for more Kitchen Door Workshop competitions.
