Brighton Paintable Vinyl Kitchen Doors
If you are looking to match your new kitchen doors to exactly match your existing kitchen theme, then why not embrace your artistic side and paint your own door from our Trends range. Far from being something that will produce results that look a bit amateur, the doors are finished in such a way that a simple paint with a roller or brush will produce superb results. And if you just fancy being that little bit different, why not choose your own individual colour palette or combine a rainbow of different colours, one for each unit.
Just because these are manufactured for you to paint yourself doesn’t mean there is any compromise on quality. All Brighton doors in the Trends range are manufactured in 18mm thick MDF, providing you with a hardwearing door that will last you for as long as you need it to. As if you need proof, all doors come with a 6 year manufacturer’s warranty as standard, showing that they have full confidence in their products too.
There is no need to worry about whether the doors will fit your current kitchen unit sizing or not as all Brighton doors can be made to any specification you require subject to a basic minimum. We can even drill hinge holes to suit your needs for a small extra cost.
Even better, with a wide range of door handles available to choose from, you can add even more individuality to your Trends look, at last letting you have the kitchen you have always wanted.
We do our best to produce accurate images but there may be some slight variation between how the colour appears on your screen and how it looks on the door. We always recommend ordering free colour swatches or purchasing a sample door so you can see exactly what your colour choice will look like.
Please note that doors and drawer fronts are sold separately. Our images show doors with their corresponding drawer fronts, but this is for illustrative purposes only.

- 6 year manufacturer's warranty as standard
- Manufactured from 18mm thick MDF with a hardwearing, wipeable vinyl surface, in a wide choice of plain and woodgrain finishes
- Products from our Trends range are FSC and PEFC certified, ensuring our timber-based raw material is sourced from controlled, well managed and sustainable forests.

Drawer front design is supplied on all sizes up to 282mm high. The minimum height is 80mm and minimum width 80mm. Maximum width is 1200mm. Drawer fronts are supplied with horizontal grain unless specified otherwise.
Some handles will not fit small drawer fronts and care should be taken before fitting to ensure that the handles you have chosen will fit the size and style of doors/drawers that you have chosen.
Doors are supplied with vertical grain.
This style of door does not come with a mid rail.
The largest door we manufacture is 2540mm high by 1200mm wide.
Frame doors are supplied unglazed, with a rebated back and a soft glazing gasket. Doors can be supplied as Open Frames or Georgian Frames. Tall doors supplied with a midrail can have full open frames (i.e. with no midrail), top open frames or top and bottom open frames. Please specify when ordering.
Georgian frames will be supplied as follows:
|Up to 800mm high||4 panes|
|801mm - 1100mm||6 panes|
|Over 1100mm high||8 panes|
The minimum height for panels is 80mm, and the minimum width is 80mm. Maximum width is 1200mm. The grain direction of panels will match the doors - except panels below the height of 282mm, which will be supplied with horizontal grain unless stated otherwise. The backs of panels will match the backs of the doors.
Handles are not supplied as standard, please choose any handle you wish from our range, or fit your own.
Drilling for hinges and handles
All doors come undrilled as standard. However, we offer a hinge hole drilling service at a modest cost.
Please let us know your hinge hole measurements and we will drill them accordingly. Measure from the top or bottom of the door to the centre of the hinge hole. If you need any guidance on measuring for hinges, watch our DIY help videos or give us a call.
You can have your hinge holes drilled from 60mm from the bottom and top edge of the door.
We are unable to drill for handles.
Matching door backs
The term 'matching back' means that the door will have a similar coloured melamine back, rather than a vinyl back and as such the colour and texture may be different from the front of the door. In particular, textured and high gloss colour doors will be supplied with a smooth matt finish back.
All doors are supplied with matching finish backs with the following exceptions:
|High Gloss Anthracite||Silver back|
|High Gloss Cappuccino||Ivory back|
|Montana Oak||Lissa Oak back|
|Ontario Maple||Acacia back|
|Paintable Vinyl||White back|
|Terra||Stone Grey back|
Horizontal grain is available as a special request in all woodgrain colour options. High gloss colours are available with horizontal grain up to 1200mm high. Standard woodgrain colours are available up to 1200mm high.
The same applies to wine rack fronts, modern canopies, plain canopies, T&G canopies and PVC panels, and are made as specified.
High gloss colours
High gloss finishes are manufactured using a heavier gauge vinyl and as such definition can be less sharp on items which have more detailed designs.
