The Storrington style in Pippy Oak
This is definitely the darkest oak in our Trends style range, and so perfect if you crave a more robust tone. Full of knots, twists and 'pips' (as the name suggests,) this is a beautifully natural Storrington that is ideal for both modern and traditional homes.
The overall design of the Storrington is Shaker, with straight lines and and neat edges. Unlike traditional Shaker style however, the Storrington introduces one of two seductive details to stop things getting too plain. The front features a planked central panel for example, which adds depth and texture to the front. There are graceful lines running across the top and bottom that fill this design with both elegance and character.
Pippy Oak may sound a little childlike, but don't be fooled, this isn't a lightweight hue. The colour is very dark and earthy, whose textural twists and knots exhume a wonderfully organic atmosphere that will refresh your kitchen. Strong, lively and robust, this is a colour that makes a statement, so make sure you pair it with equally strong tiles and surfaces to create a kitchen no guest will forget.
One of the great things about this door is that it suits both modern and traditional tastes, making your choice of handle much easier. Whether you pick a Chrome Bar or something made of Bronze or Pewter, you're sure to have a winner.
A rich tone for the more robust taste, this is certainly one of the most individual Oaks in our Trends style range.
