Questions

Does the picture show a door and drawer separately or is that how all doors are sold?

The majority of our images show the door and drawer-front together, so that you can see how they will look when fitted as a set. Doors and drawer-fronts are sold separately so will need to be ordered as individual items.

Are the colours the same in person as they are online?

We make every effort to ensure the colours on our website are displayed as accurately as possible. However, depending on the device or screen you use to browse the site, it's likely there will be some variation. We strongly recommend ordering colour swatches before you place your final order, especially if you're looking to match some existing doors.

Can I amend the order after I pay?

Unfortunately not. Once payment has been made, your order goes into production, and no changes can be made. However, if you've made a mistake with measurements (for example), contact us as soon as you can and we'll do our best to help.

Can I get a refund if I don't like the doors?

If your doors are made-to-measure, or if you've ordered doors with hinge holes drilled, we are unable to issue a refund.

If your doors are not made-to-measure, you can cancel your order up to 14 working days after delivery (in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations). If any of your items have arrived faulty or damaged, notify us in writing within 2 working days of delivery. We will need a photo of the damage in order to organise a replacement or a refund.

Do you sell worktops?

We specialise in doors, drawer-fronts and door accessories like handles and hinges - unfortunately we don't sell worktops.

What's the best way to match existing doors?

The best way to match new doors with your existing doors is to send us some clear photos of your doors and drawer-fronts. Our Customer Account Managers have a wealth of knowledge and experience and will be able to help you find the closest match.

What's the difference between High Gloss & Ultragloss doors?

The main difference is that High Gloss doors are made from MDF and wrapped in vinyl, while Ultragloss doors are made from MDF with an acrylic layer on top. This means that Ultragloss doors are harder to the touch with a mirror-shine surface, while High Gloss doors have a slightly softer shine. High Gloss doors tend to be slightly cheaper than Ultragloss doors, but this isn't always the case so it's always worth getting a quote.

Can I pay a deposit/in instalments?

Unfortunately, we don't take deposits or payments in instalments.

What happens if I received a damaged door?

While damages are rare, they do happen occasionally. If your order arrives with damages, all we require is a photograph and the door specification and we will replace the items free of charge. For further details please see Section 6 of our Terms and Conditions.

How much is a standard price door?

With so many sizes, colours and prices available it is difficult to give a standard price. Our average price for a door from our Shaker range at 570mm by 496mm is £72.68 inc VAT, but you can get a quick price for any door on the website or over the phone.

Can you drill hinge holes for me?

Of course! We will drill hinge holes for you for just £1 per hole - all we need to know is where you need the holes drilled. If you need any help measuring them, then check out this video guide or refer to our free book.

What size are the hinge holes themselves?

Hinge holes are drilled at a 35mm diameter, and 12.5mm deep. All hinge holes are drilled to an industry standard: 22mm from the edge of the door to the centre of the hole.

What are your standard hinge hole positions?

Our standard is 100mm from the top and the bottom, however, we can drill them to your particular specifications - simply let us know your desired measurements through the online quote form. It's always worth checking your hinge hole measurements, many manufacturers have different standards!

Are hinges included in the cost of your doors?

No, as we find many people will re-use their existing hinges. If you would like new hinges simply add this to your quote request and we will include them for you in the quote.
